Apple TV+ has unveiled the trailer for its highly anticipated limited series, The Crowded Room.
The show is created by Oscar-winning writer and executive producer Akiva Goldsman and stars Tom Holland, who also serves as executive producer. The series follows the story of Danny Sullivan (played by Holland), who is arrested after being involved in a shooting in New York City in 1979. The show is told through a series of interviews with interrogator Rya Goodwin (played by Amanda Seyfried) and reveals the mysterious past that shaped Danny's life.
The star-studded cast also includes Emmy Rossum, Sasha Lane, Will Chase, Lior Raz, Jason Isaacs, Christopher Abbott, Thomas Sadoski, and Zachary Golinger. The Crowded Room is a co-production between Apple Studios and New Regency, and Goldsman is the executive producer through his Weed Road Productions banner. Alexandra Milchan for EMJAG Productions, New Regency's Arnon Milchan, Yariv Milchan, and Michael Schaefer, and Suzanne Heathcote are also executive producers. Kornel Mundruczo directed several episodes, including the pilot, and also executive produces.
The 10-episode series will premiere globally on Apple TV+ on June 9 with the first three episodes, followed by one new episode each week.
