The Gemstones, HBO's beloved and ultra-rich adult siblings, who are known for their battles over their family business, are returning. The third season of Danny McBride's absurdist megachurch comedy, "The Righteous Gemstones," will premiere on June 18, as evidenced by the first trailer. The fast-paced teaser features monster trucks, high-speed racing, and Steve Zahn, who appears to play a well-dressed rival to Jesse, Judy, and Kelvin Gemstone, played respectively by McBride, Edi Patterson, and Adam DeVine.
John Goodman stars as the patriarch of the Gemstone family, alongside regular cast members Cassidy Freeman, Tim Baltz, Tony Cavalero, and Walton Goggins. According to HBO's official Season 3 description, "When the spoiled Gemstone children finally get their wish to take control of the Church, they discover leadership is harder than they imagined and that their extravagant lifestyle comes with a heavy price."
