MGM+ have released the trailer for Beacon 23, an exciting new science fiction series featuring Lena Headey and Stephan James, adapted from Hugh Howey's book. The worldwide premiere of the series is set for Sunday, November 12, at 9:00 p.m. EST/PST on MGM+, kicking off with the initial two episodes of the eight-episode series. Originally slated for broadcast on Spectrum and subsequently on AMC, the show found its home at MGM+ just last month.
Beacon 23 tells the story of Halan and Aster, who find themselves marooned at the farthest reaches of the known universe, acting as beacon keepers responsible for guiding ships in the 23rd century. Stranded in this desolate expanse, they grapple with mutual trust issues, leading to a tense power struggle on the fringes of space. With Howey's series boasting five installments, there's an abundance of source material to fuel this new small-screen adaptation.
