News: Faraway Downs - Limited Series Trailer

Hulu has released the trailer for Faraway Downs, a six-part reinterpretation of Baz Luhrmann's 2008 film "Australia," featuring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman. This series incorporates additional scenes filmed by Luhrmann for the original movie, but it will feature a fresh conclusion and soundtrack distinct from the original.

Faraway Downs will retain the fundamental storyline of the original film, chronicling the journey of Lady Sarah Ashley (Kidman), an English noblewoman who inherits a vast cattle ranch in Australia. Faced with the threat to her land, Lady Ashley teams up with a skilled cattle driver named Drover (Jackman) to lead her livestock across the rugged Australian landscape and protect her estate. Along the way, they cross paths with a young Indigenous Australian boy named Nullah (Brandon Walters). As the narrative unfolds, it becomes intricately woven with the backdrop of World War II, influencing the fate of the nation. Together, this trio navigates four transformative years, a romance blossoms between Lady Ashley and Drover, and the inescapable impact of World War II on Northern Australia shapes their destinies.

Faraway Downs will premiere on Hulu on November 26. Check out the trailer below!
