HBO unveiled the official trailer for The Regime, its forthcoming limited series featuring Kate Winslet in the lead role as an authoritative Chancellor grappling with a tenuous grip on reality while striving to maintain control. Matthias Schoenaerts plays the role of the Butcher, alongside co-stars Guillaume Gallienne, Andrea Riseborough, Martha Plimpton, and Hugh Grant.
Comprising six episodes, the limited series was created by Succession collaborators Will Tracy and Frank Rich and directed by Stephen Frears. It narrates the events unfolding over a year within the confines of a contemporary European regime's palace as it starts to unravel. Scheduled for its premiere on Sunday, March 3, at 9 pm on HBO, the series will also be available for streaming on HBO Max.
