Apple TV+ has just unveiled the trailer of its forthcoming eight-part limited series, “Presumed Innocent,” featuring Jake Gyllenhaal in the lead role and serving as an executive producer.

Crafted by acclaimed creators David E. Kelley and J.J. Abrams, this eagerly anticipated series boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Ruth Negga, Bill Camp, O-T Fagbenle, Chase Infiniti, Elizabeth Marvel, Nana Mensah, Renate Reinsve, Peter Sarsgaard, and Kingston Rumi Southwick.

“Presumed Innocent” is slated for its worldwide premiere on Apple TV+, with the initial two episodes hitting screens on Wednesday, June 12, followed by a weekly release schedule until July 24.

Adapted from Scott Turow’s bestselling novel, the series dives into a riveting murder mystery that shakes the foundations of the Chicago Prosecuting Attorney’s office when chief deputy prosecutor Rusty Sabich (portrayed by Gyllenhaal) finds himself the primary suspect. Themes of obsession, sexuality, politics, and the dynamics of love's power and constraints unfold as the accused battles to protect his family and marriage.
