Season 2 continues to explore the lives of the Garvey sisters—played by Sharon Horgan as Eva, Anne-Marie Duff as Grace, Eva Birthistle as Ursula, Sarah Greene as Bibi, and Eve Hewson as Becka. The siblings are united by the early deaths of their parents and a vow to always look out for one another. Season 1 depicted four of the sisters conspiring to murder their brother-in-law, who was abusing Grace and mistreating them all in various insidious ways. The narrative unfolded across two timelines—flashbacks and the present—revealing the sisters’ scheming alongside the aftermath of John Paul's mysterious death. Although they intended to carry out the act themselves, the true identity of his killer remained a mystery until the Season 1 finale. Two years on, buried truths come to light, they find themselves back in the spotlight. With suspicions running high, lies unravel, secrets come to the fore, and the sisters must navigate who they can really trust.
