Now that they’re a family of three, Kaley Cuoco and Chris Messina are juggling parenthood and murder in the new season of Based on a True Story.
Peacock have dropped the first trailer for Season 2, which is back on November 21 with all eight episodes. This time, Ava (Cuoco) and Nathan (Messina) are navigating life with their 3-month-old while dealing with a fresh wave of murders.
After finding out their friend Matt (Tom Bateman) is the notorious Westside Ripper in Season 1, they struck a deal: keep his secret as long as he stops killing and shares his story anonymously on their true crime podcast.
But as a new wave of murders linked to the Westside Ripper emerges, Ava and Nathan become fixated on uncovering whether their future brother-in-law (!) is involved. In the meantime, Matt insists he’s not responsible for the killings. Things are about to get wild!
